Sea Wolf has contributed a song entitled “Song of the Magpie” to the upcoming audio book for Augusten Burroughs’ new book “A Wolf at the Table”. Burroughs asked Sea Wolf’s Alex Brown Church to read the book and respond with an original song. The results hit shelves on April 29th; be sure to check it out.

Paste Magazine has named Sea Wolf the band of the week this week, saying (among other things): “Leaves In The River, the band’s full-length debut, is chock full of experience, with songs so descriptive that you can visualize them, feel them and file them into your consciousness long before fully absorbing their content”. Both Silversun Pickups and Sea Wolf will be playing some great Xmas Shows here in Los Angeles. Sea Wolf gets together with Spoon, Pinback and Datarock at The Avalon on December 5th, buy tickets HERE. The Pickups are joining Spoon, The Shins, Modest Mouse and more for an “Almost Acoustic Christmas” at the Gibson Ampitheatre on December 9th. Tickets will be on sale soon. Sea Wolf will be playing a free show in Philadelphia this Sunday (4 NOV) at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center. The show is open to the public, but you must register HERE to attend. The show will also be streamed and broadcast live on WXPN.
