Silversun Pickups’ new video for “Little Lover’s So Polite” premieres Monday March 3 on MTV2 and MTVU. The Joaquin Phoenix directed vid will be in rotation every hour, so you can’t miss it. Not only does this mean that Silversun Pickups are awesome at throwing sleepovers, but it means that they will be featured in nearly every commercial break on MTV all week long; up to their usual antics with some poolside lullabies thrown in for good measure. Silversun Pickups have completed their debut full-length, to be titled “Carnavas.” It includes 11 songs, including SSPU live favorites “Dream At Tempo 119,” “Rusted Wheel,” as well as new songs “Common Reactor” and “Melatonin.” The record, produced by Dave Cooley and mixed by Tony Hoffer, is set for a July 11 release in the US and Canada.

After four months in the studio with producer Dave Cooley and engineer Tom Biller, Silversun Pickups have wrapped recording for their stunning debut record.
