Dappled Cities was honored Saturday night at the Sydney Opera House with a SMAC (Sydney Music, Arts and Culture) Award for Best Music Performance. The prestigious award comes at the end of a busy spring (fall?) for the Sydney-based quintet, as the band had just returned from New York, where they were finishing mixes for their third album with producer Chris Coady (TV On The Radio / Yeah Yeah Yeahs).
