Half-bearded indie rock band Maritime visited Daytrotter for the third time recently to play songs from their current album Human Hearts. They also threw in an unreleased tune called “Open Roads” that is exclusively available as a live version in this session (for now). Listen & download the session for free.

Speaking of open roads… the guys are currently traveling at 65 miles-per-hour from Milwaukee to the East Coast for a string of shows this weekend. Tonight the band visits Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia, tomorrow is The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, then off to Washington DC and Columbus OH before returning home next week.

The band doesn’t often get out of the midwest, so the lucky people in these few cities should definitely come out and sing along.
