Psychic Friend My Rocks Are Dreams Now Available Everywhere

Tuesday February 12, 2013 - 31 months ago

The debut album from Will Schwartz’s new piano-pop project Psychic Friend is now available everywhere music is sold/downloaded/streamed/enjoyed.

Known for fronting the veteran indie rock outfit Imperial Teen, Will Schwartz teamed up with drummer Tripp Beam and multi-instrumentalist Bo Boddie to produce My Rocks Are Dreams. The group also enlisted former Hole drummer (and subject of the award-winning documentary Hit So Hard: The Life & Near Death Story of Patty Schemel), Patty Schemel to lend her skills on the skins to the studio recording.

All Music Guide praises the 10-track My Rocks Are Dreams as being “pure pop for smart people with warm hearts,” and the album is full of “hooks and memorable moments, sounding like tracks Carole King wishes she had written or A.C. Newman [The New Pornopgraphers] should steal.”
